Baptism and Membership

Baptism and Church Membership are important steps in the Christian journey, and we’re honored to celebrate them regularly at Mount Pisgah.

Holy Baptism is a sacrament that marks our covenant with God and with the faith community. We celebrate both infant and believer’s baptism through sprinkling, pouring, or immersion, and we recognize baptisms from other Christian traditions.

Through infant baptism, parents commit to raising their child in the life of the church, with the hope that they will one day claim the faith as their own. 

Membership is a covenantal step - an intentional commitment to the Church through prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.

We welcome new members through Confirmation, profession of faith, or transfer from another church, trusting that each step is part of God’s ongoing work in a person’s life.
