The Connect Series is the best way to build a faith foundation and get involved in Mount Pisgah. We share the history of the church, places to serve, answer faith questions, and provide an overview of the Bible through engaging, knowledgeable church members. Classes are warm and relational, with a lot of discussions. We want to get to know you, and for you to get to know us. Teaching aids include a workbook for each class with testimony videos and clearly guided scripture. Classes are interactive, build upon themselves, and will be offered on a continuous rotation.
Connect to Mount Pisgah
This 3-week class introduces you to Mount Pisgah and includes our history, mission, vision, and values. You will also learn about the many places you can serve both in the community and at Church. Connect to Mount Pisgah is a pre-requisite for all other Connect classes.
Connect to God
Getting to know the one we worship. This 6-week class answers the questions: Is there more to life than this? Who is God? Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How does God guide us? And how can I resist evil?
Connect with Your Faith
This 6-week class asks and answers the questions we ALL have, including hard topics like: How do I deal with doubt? Does God heal today? How do I study the Bible with others? Why do I need Church? What are sacraments and why do we observe them? And how do I fit into this Church?
Connect to the Bible
An introduction to the greatest book ever written. This 6-week class gives you a big picture view of the library we call the Bible. Topics include the Torah history book, poetry, prophets, Gospels, Acts, letters, prophecy and how to read/study the Bible.
Connect to the Mission
Understanding your journey with Jesus. In this 6-week class, we discuss the difference between a disciple and a Christian, the Great Commission, Matthew 4:19, The 4 Calls of Christ, and steps to grow further as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
