We Invite You To Join These Mount Pisgah Featured Connect Classes today!

Through a series of five classes over 26 weeks, we will explore life as an active and engaged member of Mount Pisgah. Sign on for the full series or take classes as they occur. Each class will be hosted multiple times a week so you are sure to find an offering that fits your schedule. As you walk through the Connect Series with your group, it is our hope that you will find your community and a network of support to help you grow in your faith journey. First semester offerings begin in January 2023

First Semester: January - May

Connect to Mount Pisgah

We are excited that God has brought you to Mount Pisgah! In this 3-week class you will learn more about the church history, mission, vision and values as well as volunteer opportunities to help you serve and grow here. We want to walk along side you in your Christian journey and look forward to getting to know you better. You will also have the opportunity to take the PLACE assessment to discover more about your unique, God-given given gifts and talents to help you seek purpose as we journey together and encourage one another.

Connect to God

Getting to know the one we worship. This 6-week class answers the questions: Is there more to life than this? Who is God? Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How does God guide us? And how can I resist evil?

Connect with Your Faith

This 6-week class asks and answers the questions we ALL have, including hard topics like: How do I deal with doubt? Does God heal today? How do I study the Bible with others? Why do I need Church? What are sacraments and why do we observe them? And how do I fit into this Church?

Second Semster - August - November

Connect to the Bible

 

An introduction to the greatest book ever written. This 6-week class gives you a big picture view of the library we call the Bible.  Topics include the Torah history book, poetry, prophets, Gospels, Acts, letters, prophecy and how to read/study the Bible.

Connect to the Mission

 

Understanding your journey with Jesus. In this 6-week class, we discuss the difference between a disciple and a Christian, the Great Commission, Matthew 4:19, The 4 Calls of Christ, and steps to grow further as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
