DiscipleLife Coordinator

Mount Pisgah UMC, located in Johns Creek, Georgia is actively seeking a part-time (16 hours per week) Ministry, Coordinator.  The work schedule for this position will be Monday – Thursday, 4 hours per day. This position will support the mission of Mount Pisgah by performing duties for the DiscipleLife ministry. 

 

Responsibilities of the position will be, but not limited to, coordinating small groups administrative needs, department communications, access to digital media, knowledge of books/videos, providing customer service, room reservations, maintaining church management database, and assist in placement for new congregants. In addition, this position will provide administrative support for ministry events/activities (i.e. Walk to Emmaus, Women/Men Ministry, and 4:19 School of Disciple Makers). Required skills include writing, editing, computer, and attention to detail.

 

Qualified candidates must be familiar with the Mount Pisgah UMC doctrine, possess a vital and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Director of Digital Strategies

Mount Pisgah UMC, located in Johns Creek, Georgia is actively seeking a full-time Director of Digital Strategies within the Marketing and Communications ministry. The purpose of this position is to lead and execute Mount Pisgah’s digital strategy to help people to meet, know, and follow Jesus.  Responsibility of planning and working with the Communications Team for Mount Pisgah’s digital marketing efforts and external-facing digital marketing.  Work with all ministries to move people to ongoing engagement and assist in cultivating stewardship through the conversion of online attendees to fully engaged members.  Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in marketing or advertising.  2-4 years of proven full-time experience in digital marketing.  Interested and qualified candidates should submit a resume to Beth Giddes, Human Resources Director at bgiddes@mountpisgah.org.
