One Hour At A Time

One hour at a time. Mount Pisgah isn’t just our name - it’s our calling. Like Moses on the mountain, we’re invited to glimpse what God is doing and step toward it. That means moving beyond waiting for people to come to us and choosing presence over programs. In a world more connected than ever yet increasingly isolated, we believe the hope of the gospel is found up close - through shared meals, listening ears, and faithful relationships over time.

What if each of us invested just one hour a week in a neighbor? Together, those small acts could reshape our community, one relationship at a time.

Summer Sundays

This summer, we’re inviting our church family to become front-yard people.

Slow down. Move life outside. Stay available.

Whether it’s lawn chairs in the driveway, popsicles with neighbors, evening walks, or conversations on the porch, Summer Sundays is about creating intentional space for connection, hospitality, and hope right where you live.

No pressure. No perfect setup. Just ordinary people becoming more present to the neighbors God has already placed around them.

Move life to the front yard.  Become good news on your street.

Give Your Old Laptop New Purpose

Do you have a gently used laptop sitting at home? You can turn it into a powerful tool for a family in need. We’re collecting working laptops to provide students and families with access to education, job opportunities, and essential online resources. All donated devices will be securely wiped by trusted volunteers before being gifted to those who need them most. Your donation can help a student complete homework, a parent apply for a job, or a family stay connected.

Laptops can be dropped off throughout the month of June at the church office (Mon-Thurs 9AM-5PM ) or Sundays at the Welcome Desk!
