The Writer Within Workshop
Saturday, October 8th | 9:00 AM - Noon | Room S142
Has God given you something to say or a desire to write?
Do you feel there is a timid little soul deep inside who longs to have the courage to break loose and become a writer? If so, The Writer Within Workshop is designed with you in mind. Come and enjoy fellowship with others with similar hearts as we pamper, nudge, and encourage that creative spirit to emerge. All ages and stages are welcome!
This class will be an interactive time where we will explore such questions as:
Who am I and why do I want to write?
Who is my Writer Within and what is his/her personality?
What are my expectations for my Writer Within?
After delving into the above questions and others that will guide you into discovering this “other self,” you will leave with a plan customized to your unique writing personality and a calendar set with realistic goals.
Jan will customize a writers’ group that will meet on a regular basis if there should be interest after the workshop.
Bio: Jan Alonso is a member of Mount Pisgah and has been a published author for the last twenty years. She has conducted writing workshops and had a monthly column for the Georgia Writers Association Website for six years.
