Dear God,

On this special day of Thanksgiving, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude and joy. We give thanks for the countless blessings you have bestowed upon us, both big and small. In this moment, we pause to acknowledge your goodness, your love, and your providence.

We are thankful for the gift of life, for the breath in our lungs, and for the health and strength that sustains us each day. We are grateful for the love of our families and friends, for the relationships that bring warmth and meaning to our lives. We thank you for the food on our table, the shelter over our heads, and the clothing on our backs. You provide for our needs, and we are humbled by your provision.

Lord, we are mindful of those who are less fortunate and ask that you would open our hearts to be generous and compassionate toward them. Help us to be a source of love and support to those in need, just as you have been to us.

We are grateful for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice on the cross brought us salvation and eternal life. May we never take for granted the incredible gift of grace and forgiveness that we find in Him.

As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, help us to focus on the true meaning of this holiday – a time to give thanks to you, our Creator and Sustainer. May our gratitude lead us to live lives of love, service, and faith.
