Blessing of the Backpacks

There’s something special about a new school year—fresh supplies, big hopes, and backpacks packed for adventure. This Sunday during both worship services, kids will receive a special message, a prayer of blessing for the year ahead, and a challenge to love their neighbors in all they do.

No kids programming this Sunday—we’re inviting all families to worship together, and we hope every child will bring their backpack to be blessed. Babies - 4 year olds will have programming downstairs.

To make the morning a little smoother (and more fun!), we’ll have a cereal bar ready to help fuel your family before the service.
