Prior to coming to Fuller, Greg enjoyed 24 years in pastoral ministry.
He is the author of six books: Unfinished Business: Returning the Ministry to the People of God (Zondervan, 2003), Discipleship Essentials: A Guide to Building Your Life in Christ: Expanded and Revised (InterVarsity Press, 2019), Transforming Discipleship: Making Disciples a Few at a Time (Intervarsity Press, 2016); with co-author, Daniel Meyer, Leadership Essentials: Shaping Vision, Multiplying Influence, Defining Character (InterVarsity Press, 2007), The Essential Commandment: A Guide to Loving God and Others (InterVarsity Press, 2011), and lastly, Essential Guide to Becoming a Disciple (November, 2016).
Dr. Ogden is a chairman of the board of Global Discipleship Initiative (GDI). GDI trains, coaches, and inspires pastors and Christian leaders to establish indigenous, multiplying, disciple making movements, both nationally and internationally. (globaldi.org)
It has been a joy to be married to Lily for 50 years and we have one married daughter who with her husband are practicing pediatricians in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Ogdens are now “obnoxious” grandparents to their 13 year-old granddaughter, Claire and an 10 year-old grandson, Dylan.
